Dr Emilie Combet, BSc, PhD, is a Lecturer in Human Nutrition at the University of Glasgow, School of Medicine.
Dr Combet leads a research group focusing on nutrition and the lifecycle, with particular emphasis on foods and health. Her research focuses in particular on women of childbearing age, pregnancy and infancy, and the ageing overweight adult. Relevant recent published papers include surveys of iodine sufficiency in the UK, and an in-depth look at seaweed as a potential source of iodine.
Dr Combet also teach on the MSc in Human Nutrition and the MSc Translational Medical Sciences at the University of Glasgow.
